“The apostles left the high council rejoicing that God had counted them worthy to suffer disgrace for the name of Jesus.” Acts 5:41
This begs the question: Do I rejoice when “stuff” is going down? When life seems hard, when my computer doesn’t go fast enough, when I have to wait in line too long…Do I rejoice in my simple sufferings?
What is a little less sleep, or carrying a heavy load for a season in the big picture? Count it all as grateful and rejoice that God has found you worthy to do His work here on planet earth.
