Keep Praying

Keep Praying

We are in the midst of witnessing the miraculous hand of God in the lives of those we’ve been praying for. We didn’t just pray one prayer and then wait for God to respond. Scripture is clear…ask and keep asking, keep looking, keep knocking.

Keep  means to continue, to not give up. Wikipedia says that “keep” refers to large towers in castles that were fortified residences, used as a refuge of last resort should the rest of the castle fall to an adversary.

See your persistent prayers as building a fortified wall of protection around what or who you are praying for so that the enemy can not penetrate your prayers. Keep is action, keep builds faith, keep tells God and the enemy that you will not be moved from the stance you are taking on the word of God.

We are witnessing miracles. We didn’t see them the instant we began to pray, but they were answered in the midst of our faith filled persistent prayers. What or who are you praying for today? I want to encourage you to keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep believing. Your heavenly father hears and He will respond.

“And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.” Luke 11:9-10

Keep praying and believing for your miracle today. I am believing with you! Have a great week.
