Even though we are far away from him, even though we are broken and ashamed, even though we have sinned, God still calls us, asks us to come to the table and eat with him. He shares in his bounty. He restores back to us what was lost or taken from us. He gives it back to us…and then some. He lifts our head and places a crown on our heads, he lifts us up and elevates us to a position of strength and authority to rule and reign. He lavished his kingdom on us.
