The love of a Father – Being Real & Being Loved

I think many of us spend so much of our lives so desperately wanting to be real..to be who we really are. And yet, we spend so much of our time being who we think others want us to be. OR, we think that if people knew who we really were, there is no way they would like us. Not only do we want to be real, but we want to be loved for who we really are.

During this season of Lent, God wants you to know that He loves you just the way you are. He wants you to know that you are worthy of His love. You don’t have to pretend anymore. The Word of God is all about your Redeemer, Jesus Christ, Savior of the world, and your redemption. Jesus came and said, take me instead of them. Take my life as a ransom so that they can be free.

It is the unconditional love of the Father that says to you today, You are loved, You have worth. You have value. You have a purpose and I don’t want you to waste one more moment. You don’t have to be anybody else but the you that God has created you to be because you are greatly loved just the way you are! The Lord has made proclamation
to the ends of the earth:
“Say to Daughter Zion,
‘See, your Savior comes!
See, his reward is with him,
and his recompense accompanies him.’ ”

They will be called the Holy People,
the Redeemed of the Lord;
and you will be called Sought After,
the City No Longer Deserted. Isaiah 62:11-12

“Praise the Lord, the God of Israel,
because he has visited and redeemed his people.
He has sent us a mighty Savior
from the royal line of his servant David,
just as he promised
through his holy prophets long ago. Luke 1:68-70
