The path that you should go is not the path of least resistance. The path you should take that will get you to where you want to go to be happy, satisfied, fulfilled is bumpy, messy and hard to navigate at times. The path you should take is challenging, demanding and will stretch you beyond what you think your limits are. The path you should take will lead you to the vast wide open spacious life God has for you and even though it’s hard, you will know in your heart that you have fulfilled your God given destiny. So don’t shrink back or take a stroll on easy street. Stay the course, navigate the difficulties and do what you’ve been called to do. Stay on the path that God has laid out for you. Stay. Wait. Be still and let God move and use you. LIVE!
You’re blessed when you stay on course, walking steadily on the road revealed by God. You’re blessed when you follow his directions, doing your best to find him. That’s right—you don’t go off on your own; you walk straight along the road he set. You, God, prescribed the right way to live; now you expect us to live it. Oh, that my steps might be steady, keeping to the course you set; Then I’d never have any regrets in comparing my life with your counsel. I thank you for speaking straight from your heart; I learn the pattern of your righteous ways. I’m going to do what you tell me to do; don’t ever walk off and leave me. Psalm 119
